This programme provides an overview of the management function of public relations in an organisation and the contribution that it makes to building the brand and reputation of the organisation. It analyses the stakeholders who influence the perception of an organisation and how PR can help the organisations to build positive relations with internal and external stakeholders, audiences and publics. It looks at how PR helps to build a brand and maintain a reputation and how to do this consistently over the long-term.
