Good Governance is about delivering economy, efficiency and effectiveness in public services. It is crucial to the development of transparent, accountable, ably led, honest institutions whose mission is one of continuous enhancement. This Faculty concentrates on programmes which develop inspiring leaders, improve organisational and individual performance, build human resource capacity and reduce corruption and dishonesty. This Programme will give delegates an insight into how to improve the performance of their organisation/department. It will utilise a number of international case studies where performance management has led to significant improvement in organisational performance and personal effectiveness. It will explore the value of the Balanced Scorecard methodology. It will focus on the benefits of improving service delivery and the issues surrounding performance, integrity, accountability and the prevention of fraud and corruption.
