The development of any economy requires the contribution of both private and public sector operators. One of such operators in the private sector is the Non-Governmental Organizations, popularly called NGOs. In the present changing world economic order, the role of NGOs has become very crucial and imperative in areas ranging from services provision to advocacy. The reality on ground is that many NGOs are failing or performing their managerial functions at sub-optimal level. NGOs must focus on strategies and management for effective performance in governance, economic independence and sustainable development. This workshop is designed to enhance the managerial capability of NGOs’ managers to develop and manage their organizations for sustainable development.
