Sep 01 - 05 Sep, 2014
Public-private partnership (PPP) is increasingly being used as an umbrella description to embrace the range of options that are now available to replace the previous choices between the public sector and privatization. There is also wider acceptance that competition has a role to play in the provision of efficient services to the public. All of these imply that there are increasingly difficult choices for policy makers about the best partnership option to select for a particular activity. Several options are available under the new dispensation of public-private partnerships. This course is therefore designed to equip managers with skills required for identifying the strengths, weaknesses and relevance of the available PPP options analytically and objectively.
