The Physical Security Professional (PSP)® credential provides proof of the holder’s knowledge and experience in threat assessment and risk analysis; integrated physical security systems; and the appropriate identification, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of security measures. Those who earn the PSP® are ASIS board certified in physical security and the qualification enhances their in-company credibility and career prospects.

Who will benefit
The (PSP®) certification is designed for security managers and consultants who want an internationally-recognised advanced–level credential in physical security management.
The test consists of multiple-choice questions taken from the ASIS PSP Reference Set and covering tasks, knowledge, and skills in:

  • Physical Security Assessment
  • Application
  •  Design and Integration of Physical Security Systems
  •  Implementation of Physical Security Measures
The ARC Programme Includes
An orientation session – the Trainer runs a conference call during which he explains the timetable of study and approach required of Delegates. He also covers FAQs and lessons learned by previous attendees.
A guided four month distance learning programme, comprising mandatory monthly tasks. These are designed to familiarise delegates with the ASIS Reference Set. Detailed feedback is given after each task.
A five-day intensive and interactive non-residential classroom course. This is designed to explain, consolidate and discuss the Reference Set material and to test delegate knowledge, as well as pinpoint where further revision should be concentrated.
The examination fee, the set reading materials and accommodation during the classroom course are not included in the ARC study package fee. Details of reading materials can be found on the ASIS website.
Further details of the subject matter, set reading materials, examination entry criteria, exam application form and Prometric test centres can be found on the ASIS website.
