This course will enable participants to negotiate effectively within the PPP process, from finance to completion, and develop the key skills and behaviours for project and contract management.

Who Should Attend?

 People who have or are planning to have responsibilities for PPP contract negotiation and management. Participants experienced in project and contract management and have previous experience in contract negotiation is desirable but not required.

Course Outcomes

 Delegates will gain knowledge and skills to:

  • Recognise and implement the role, responsibilities and competencies of the effective contract negotiator

  • Secure finance partners and manage the contract negotiation process

  • Implement the key elements of the management of the contract from securing finance to completion

  • Identify and implement appropriate action planning along with key measures of performance – KPI’s

  • Know how to identify the key risks, manage them and apply appropriate contingency plans

  • Implement effective contract negotiation and monitoring skills

  • Establish a contract compliance action plan for implementation

  • Develop a systematic approach to the key stages of the negotiation process

  • Implement effective measurement and bench marking of key stages of the project process to enable effective management
