The essence of decision-making is problem-solving. That is, at the heart of every decision is the desire to solve a problem, whether defined in terms of a deficiency or an opportunity. Not surprisingly, therefore, executives and leaders are often made or broken by the decisions / choices they make.
In essence, problem-solving and decision-making is about how we think! To make more optimal decisions, therefore, we must understand how these dimensions interact, especially in time-bound and uncertain contexts.
This seminar will provide participants with information as well as tools geared towards developing their thinking capabilities which are at the root of excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills suitable for our peculiar contexts.
- Introduction to Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
- The Psychology of Decision-Making
- Decision-Making as a Process
