The resources of an organization need to be well documented and monitored to checkmate misuse and violation of organizational policies and rules. Thus, the role of auditors in any organization is indeed a critical one. Internal auditors need to equip themselves and update their knowledge, skills and attitude to cope with the complexities of modern public and private sector organizations. The modern day auditor needs a new orientation. Auditors are expected, not to only ensure conformity with organizational policies and rules, but also to see themselves as part of the management team committed to achieving organizational goals.
The workshop is designed to equip internal auditors with core competence for the effective execution of their functions towards the overall organizational goals.
