Organizations must retain knowledge (data & information) even when staff leave the organisation. Knowledge is a critical component of an organization’s in tangible assets.
The current emphasis is on building the knowledge-based organisation. In order for the management and employees of the organization to be most effective, they must have access to the necessary information for decision making. Knowledge-based organizations are able to generate value from their intellectual and knowledge-based assets. This they do by codifying what employees, customers and partners know, and sharing information among all other employees, departments and even with other organizations in an effort to devise best practices and increased productivity.
The workshop is designed to equip participants with requisite skills and capabilities to create knowledge based organization with a view to facilitating the realization of the corporate goals of the organization.
