  • Conduct a motor‐protector relay testing;
  • Know how to use a volt‐ammeter for trouble shooting electric motors;
  • Know how to test the centrifugal switch in a single‐phase motor;
  • Perform a test for a short circuit between run and start windings;
  • Demonstrate proper safety practices and procedures while installing, diagnosing, repairing and troubleshooting and servicing Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Repair (HVACR) systems;
  • Explain and conduct the step-by-step procedures in troubleshooting.
