This training is designed for both engineers with exposure to the basic level of the SACS Software and candidates with theoretical Structural background. The training will be carried out by trainer from Bentley, formerly EDI USA, the owners/developers of the Software.
SACS is an integrated suite of software that supports the analysis, design and fabrication of offshore structures, including oil, gas, and wind farm platforms and topsides. Its ability to dynamically iterate designs allows users to perform advanced analysis, comply with offshore design criteria, and visualize complex results.
SACS provides offshore engineers with comprehensive analysis and design capabilities that improve infrastructure operational safety and minimize risk and ensure compliance for a broad range of structures. It is proficient in specialized analyses important to any offshore project, including: non-linear structural analysis; dynamic response analysis due to wind, current, waves, and seismic loads; analysis for impact effects; and special high-end analysis for severe accidental loadings such as dynamic blast, ship impact, and structural collapse. SACS can model tubular jacket structures, foundations, spars, and topsides, as well as perform detailed fatigue life calculations
The training will include Lectures, workshops, case studies, General discussions and practical usage of the SACS software by each candidate
Bentley SACS - Offshore Analysis and Design Training (Beginners)

This course is designed for individuals who neither have any prior knowledge on behavior of offshore structures nor experience using Bentley SACS. It covers the introduction to offshore structures, including In-Place only with PSI and Precede (Basic geometry modeling).
Bentley SACS - Offshore Analysis and Design Training (Intermediate)

This course is designed for individuals who have appreciable knowledge or experience in behavior of offshore structures and are interested in developing competency in the application and use of Bentley SACS. It covers introduction to Precede (Basic geometry modeling) including In-Place, Pushover/Collapse and Static boat Impact with PSI.
Bentley SACS - Offshore Analysis and Design Training (Fundamentals)

This course is designed for individuals who have appreciable knowledge or experience in behavior of offshore structures and have experience in the application and use of Bentley SACS, including precede. It covers keys modules in the Bentley SACS suite with emphasis on Lift, Load-out, transportation analysis, launch theory and analysis.
Title: Bentley SACS - Offshore Analysis and Design Training (Advanced)
Course Code: BSO-05
This course is designed for experienced users of Bentley SACS who have appreciable knowledge and experience in behavior of offshore structures but a limited knowledge of theoretical basis of Fatigue. This two (2) weeks program will lay emphasis on modules such as Dynamic (Mode Shape), Wave Response, Fatigue, Dynamic Ship Impact including SACS Implementation.
SACS Training certificates issued by Bentley will be provided.
