Construction accidents in Nigeria account for approximately 80% of all work-related deaths. It is one of the most hazardous industries in our nation. Construction safety is an important and shared responsibility of all participants in the construction process.

This course is intended to help construction workers understand how to identify the most common and frequent sources of construction accidents, and the safe actions required to correct them in order to avert accidents.

Carelessness can lead to injury and death of workers and members of the public. Accidents can result in sorrow and anger to victims and their families as well as financial loss to employers and workers.
