Lagos State, Nigeria
Nov 26 - 26 Nov, 2015
As 2015 draws to a close, Economic Associates (EA) will host a one-day conference on Economic Outlook in 2016.
2015 turned out to be a year in which commodity price weakness abroad combined with political and economic uncertainty at home to inflict a steep decline in Nigeria's economic growth rate. While the global commodity outlook is expected to improve slightly in 2016, unavoidable economic, fiscal, sectoral, and financial reforms clearly hold the key to a brighter outlook for Nigeria in 2016.
The conference will provide opportunities to discuss the global economic and financial prospects and evaluate the requisite fiscal, sectoral and financial reforms and what they will mean for the budgetary outlook, sectoral growth, liquidity, inflation, interest rate, exchange rate and all the other realities that economic decision makers must come to terms with 2016.
