An area of focus of governments and NGOs in Nigeria is on promotion of agricultural projects and small/medium enterprises (SMEs), as vehicle for sustainable development. Consequently, SMEs Facilitators/Business Advisors, Agricultural Officers and Extension Officers are required to prepare and/or appraise projects. In addition, they are also expected to write proposals for financial/technical assistance. ARMTI's interactions with some SME facilitators have shown that many of the officers are not sufficiently equipped to prepare and appraise feasibility reports and proposals.
This training course is designed to improve the knowledge and skills of participants in preparing feasibility study and proposals. At the end of the course, participants should be able to:

Agricultural and extension officers as well as business advisors in commercial and community banks, Central Bank of Nigeria, ADPs, IFAD sponsored projects, Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), at Federal and State levels, Research Institutes, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), state credit and property development corporations, FAMEG and SAMEG, NDE, NAPEP, NGOs, CBOs etc.
