The objective of the training is to expose public sector participants Planning department of the Ministries as well as Officers responsible for Planning in all Departments and Agencies to the principles, practices and current thinking, concepts and developments on Medium Term Sector Strategies in order to facilitate the process of MTSS.  The training will cover the steps to be followed by all participating line ministries and MDAs with the aim of

  • Ensuring an appropriate degree of consistency between the submissions from different ministries; and
  • Allowing an appropriate degree of flexibility to reflect between-sector differences and to allow for learning and development through the process
