Public relations are a strategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and their publics. This course will take you step-by-step through proven approaches to Public Relations (PR) planning and management. By following these steps, PR professionals will achieve results that can be measured and reported back to top management, and directly contribute to the organization’s success by enhancing its reputation and improving its relationships.

Among other lessons will be the fundamentals of PR, and how significant they are to understand organizational reputation and relationships.

Target Audience

Managers, supervisors and officers experienced in public relations. Other key personnel whose work involves contact and interaction with the internal or external public, particularly in the areas of personnel, marketing, sales, training and administration will also benefit from this course.

Methodology

The instructor led trainings are delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web-based tutorials and group work. Our facilitators are seasoned industry experts with years of experience, working as professional and trainers in these fields

  • All facilitation and course materials will be offered in English. The participants should be reasonably proficient in English.
  • ISO 2000 Food Safety Management System training will enable participants to develop the necessary expertise to support an organization in establishing, implementing, managing and maintaining a Food Safety Management System (FSMS) based on ISO 22000.
  • During this training course, participants will also gain a thorough understanding of the best practices of Food Safety Management Systems and be able to apply them in an organization’s food supply chain in order to effectively control food hazards and ensure quality and safety.

At the end of the course, participants will:

  • Receive a SCILS Management Centre issued a certificate of Proficiency in Food Safety Management System based on (ISO 22000 Aligned)
  • Be eligible to sit for and pass at first attempt the Food Safety Management System based on ISO 22000
  • A participation certificate of 31 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit will be issued by the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB)
