Foodstuff exporting can be done full-time, it can also be a side hustle, depending on how you intend to take it. You can either be someone who produces foodstuff products processed and packaged or source the same products for Nigerians and Africans in the diaspora.

The same question all students have been asking me is how will they get buyers and who will they sell to? Like all other businesses, there's no shortcut to becoming a successful foodstuff exporter. You must follow due processes, be consistent about building your brand, and be persistent in sourcing for buyers.

Sit down and start to write out everybody you know who has traveled abroad, that's a good place to start. With the prevalent rate of Nigerians this ‘japa’ season, you have enough to fill your list already.

  • Your primary school friends
  • Secondary school friends
  • University friends
  • Postgraduate friends
  • Former employer/employees
  • Work colleague
  • Business partners
  • Neighbors
  • Church members
  • Club members
  • Mosque members
  • Office/Bank
  • Online friends

etc.

Before you comb through all these, you can comfortably list 50 people who you have been in contact with at one time or the other in your life who now lives in Russia, Germany, London, United States, Norway, Australia, Estonia, Dubai, Malaysia, etc. contact them, advertise your services, sell and start earning FOREX. Of course, there are several other ways which I will teach you at the Masterclass.
