This course is designed for all technical professionals in the oil and gas industry, including trainee Geologist /engineers, petrophysicists, geoscientist?s geophysicists, production engineers, drilling engineers, and operations personnel who needs to know the coring job and its importance for reservoir development and field planning (FFD). COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course, participants will gain experience and much better understanding of core importance and what will the core add to the reservoir knowledge , and what is the impact of the core data on field development plan as whole. Also what are the factors affect the coring job and core recovery. What are the type of measurements and data gathered out of the recovered core. Course will be finalized with actual case study and questions.
