We also have extracted collaboration with foreign reputable trade consulting and training firms, foreign banks, Export Credit Agencies, Development Finance Institutions, Foreign Trade Credit a Insurance, Foreign buyers, foreign suppliers, etc in furtherance to facilitating and developing trade in the country. As a result of global glut in international oil supplies, the price of Nigeria's major Foreign Exchange earner " crude oil" has plummeted which prompted the Federal Government to direct efforts at developing non-oil export economy in the country.
This was demonstrated by setting up the " Export Stimulation Fund" with N500b seed capital to ensure promotion, development and growth of our non-oil export economy. Many firms have been bitten by the export bug but do not have the requisite skills, knowledge and capacity to thrive in this risky arena. Therefore, the School of Whole Trade Practitioners was created to fill this gap, provide solutions at ensuring our teeming clients are well armed to take on the challenge and come out without a scar. We are poised to support the Federal Government drive at trade development and facilitation while at the same time delivering unmatched solutions to our trade clients as we replace "services" in the business world with "solutions.
