Delivery and dispatch riders provide a valuable service in delivering information for the business community or home deliveries for the general public. Traffic congestion and parking restrictions make delivering parcels by motorcycle and bicycles an economical and effective alternative to delivery vans. Bicycles and motorcycles can travel faster than cars through heavy city traffic. They are also economical, efficient and, in the case of bicycles, environmentally harmless.
However, dispatch and delivery riders are the most vulnerable groups of road users. They work full time and are therefore on the road during the rush hour so that the main risk they face is road accidents. This 5 days intensive training cover delivery effectiveness and various risks faced by dispatch and delivery riders, in addition to road safety tips and techniques.
