Statistical Process Control (SPC) is a statistically-based collection of tools used to monitor, control, and improve processes. SPC techniques helps you visually see, understand, manage and control processes with data, and warn you when the process has degraded and action is needed. Although the SPC training can be time consuming and frustrating because of the complex nature of the statistics underlying SPC control charts.

You will learn how to create and use control charts, practice with examples, exercises and quizzes to test your knowledge.

Statistical Process Control (SPC) will allow for more effective tracking and evaluation of output data, facilitate timely response to process issues and drive quality improvement. Concepts and practical application of SPC techniques will be presented. While statistical formulas are important, the class will focus on recognizing out-of-control conditions and appropriate responses to bring a process back into a state of statistical control. Attendees will be trained in the development and interpretation of several control charts that will enhance their knowledge of SPC.
