Strong communication and leadership qualities are imperative to running any audit team at the highest possible level. This training course is targeted specifically to senior audit professionals – and is based on discussions on the key aspects of a modern internal audit function.

A wide range of key topics will be discussed such as meeting the changing needs of stakeholders, developing more proactive relationships with the Audit   Committee, and delivering and measuring value for money.  This Leadership and Communication Skills for Auditors course will also address the principles of general communication techniques, interpersonal skills; non-verbal communication; listening skills; techniques for building rapport; methods for dealing with difficult interactions; and effective briefing techniques.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this intensive program, auditors will be equipped with the techniques to communicate with those being audited, including making initial contact, preparing the audit plan, interaction whilst conducting the audit, briefing and preparing the audit findings and recommendations.
