Changing driver behaviour is not easy. Providing information alone does not necessarily lead to changes in behaviour. While drivers are learning and applying practical skills, knowledge and strategies around risk detection and hazard reduction, they also need to increase their awareness about their attitudes, thinking, perception and behaviour within and outside the work environment. They must understand what motivates their driving decisions, both safe and unsafe.

In our Driving Behaviour and Personality Development Training, we target the five human elements that underpin a driver safety culture - behaviour, attitude, awareness, motivation, and skill to achieve driver behaviour change. This training will address stress management, emotional intelligence, relationship and time management, ethical behaviour and service standards required to be successful in the workplace.

Learning Objectives: This course ensures attitudinal and behavior changes which occur because of the group exercises that encourage participants to reflect on their behavior, attitudes and all other human elements that can impact behavior within and outside work environment. At the end of this 5-day training, participants will:

  • Learn critical behaviors that result in a positive service climate.
  • Learn the skills required to manage service opportunities and building customer loyalty.
  • Be equipped with the skills required to maintain a cordial relationship with bosses and colleagues.
  • Become aware of acceptable moral standards in the workplace.
  • Be equipped with ethical values and behaviours expected in the work environment.
  • Make conscious effort to abide by the culture, rules, and regulations of the workplace.
  • Have a sense of responsibility in the workplace.
