This interactive course is designed to introduce you to a number of different models for planning (e.g. input and output planning) along with the critical considerations for each. It will also discuss the importance of the golden thread ensuring that there is a link from organisation or corporate plans, through service area plans, right down to individual performance measures. This ensures that staff are incentivised to plan on a basis that is consistent with the organisation’s priorities. It also covers various budgeting models and then how to ensure you deliver against those budgets and what to do if things go wrong.
