Heads of Departments play a critical role in translating organizational strategy into operational results while maintaining compliance, quality, and accountability. As Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools increasingly influence research, documentation, reporting, and decision support across departments, HODs must move beyond basic awareness to practical mastery, oversight, and controlled deployment.
This programme is designed to equip HODs with the capability to lead, supervise, and govern the use of AI within their departments, particularly in executive writing, reporting, legal and compliance documentation, data analysis, and operational decision support. The focus is on ensuring AI improves productivity, consistency, and turnaround time without compromising regulatory standards, data confidentiality, or professional judgment.
Participants will learn how to guide their teams in using AI responsibly, assess the quality of AI-assisted outputs, set departmental boundaries for AI usage, and integrate AI into workflows in a manner aligned with industry regulations and organizational objectives.
