  • Roles in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt)

Day 2: Define & Measure Phases

Theme: Building the Improvement Framework

  • DMAIC methodology overview (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control)
  • Define phase: project charters, problem statements, and scope
  • Measure phase: data collection, process mapping, and baseline metrics
  • Tools: SIPOC diagrams, value stream mapping, measurement system analysis
  • Exercise: Create a SIPOC diagram for a sample process

Day 3: Analyze & Improve Phases

Theme: Driving Process Optimization

  • Analyze phase: root cause analysis, cause-and-effect diagrams, hypothesis testing
  • Improve phase: brainstorming solutions, piloting improvements, mistake-proofing (Poka-Yoke)
  • Lean tools: Kaizen, 5S, and standard work
