NIMN Appoints Sidney Ogodo as Acting RegistrarPosted: 10 years ago |
The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) recently announced the appointment of Mr Sidney Ogodo as the Acting Registrar of the Institute. The appointment was announced in a release issued by the Institute’s Corporate Affairs Department. Mr Ogodo has since taken over from Reverend Deji Oloketuyi, the former Registrar of the institute, who retired in December 2014. The new Acting Registrar, Mr Sidney Ogodo was born in Sapele, Delta State, where he had both his primary and secondary education. He was the winner of the Institutes’ Best Marketing Graduating student and the Rector’s Prize for Academic Excellence in 1986 in Auchi Polytechnic where he obtained his National Diploma in Business Administration and Higher National Diploma in Marketing. Mr Ogodo later bagged a post graduate Diploma in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) and Nnamdi Azikwe University, Akwa. Sidney Ogodo started his working career at Johnson Wax Nigeria Limited as a management trainee in the marketing Department, where he rose to the position of assistant brand manager and later senior product manager, where he managed and improved significantly, the flagship brand of the company, Raid insecticide. Since joining the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria in 2006, the Acting Registrar has managed several functions such as Examination, Membership, Capacity Development and Administration/Human Resource in the Institute. |
