Capacity Africa Institute was established in 1999 in Kenya as a not for Profit organization and registered as a Non Governmental Organization (NGO). The organization was formed to address capacity building needs among development organizations in Africa. The organization has over twelve years experience working with development partners in capacity building in South Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Congo, Somalia, Tanzania, Burundi and Rwanda. We have trained over 3500 development workers in various developments related thematic areas.. We have further conducted over fifty participatory mid term and end term evaluations in the region. Our package is results-oriented and hands-on, enabling our trainees and partners to learn and apply the skills gained on conclusion of the exercise planned. The organization provides a depth of collective technical expertise and experiences as well as demonstrated ability to work in a variety of cultural settings. Services. One of the key reasons that there is no meaningful development in Africa is the lack of capacity by beneficiaries to implement sustainable programmes. Capacity Africa Institute values the communities we work in as engines and classrooms for knowledge dissemination. Through our training arm, we deliver training programmes to civil servants, development workers and young people.
