The training will present a general basic to advanced knowledge of maritime logistics, challenges in the maritime-land interface and maritime freight logistics.  Discuss current logistics and supply chain management issues, practices, and trends, with an emphasis on how these developments can be used to increase efficiencies and reduce costs in the participant’s supply chain operations – be it public or private industry.

Identify opportunities for participants to further their professional development within the logistics and supply chain field such as the role of artificial intelligence, data science, internet of things, block chain, etc. Delegates will also engage in a discussion of some of the main trends in supply chain management and how these may impact the role of transportation, particularly in the maritime industry.
