Disasters - natural or man-made - can occur anytime, and an Emergency Action Plan must always be at hand to help your employees respond to the situation. It is essential for survival and minimization of loss. This course will teach you that meeting this commitment involves more than just being fully prepared.
An Emergency Action Plan (EAP) outlines the actions to be taken in the event of an emergency. The goal of an EAP is to protect employees, customers, and the company's assets during an emergency.
Specifically, this course will focus on the following:
- Introduction to emergency action planning
- Developing an EAP
- Communicating the EAP
- Implementing the EAP
- Maintaining the EAP
By the end of this training, managers should have a thorough understanding of how to develop, communicate, implement, and maintain an effective Emergency Action Plan.
