The proposed course â€˜Research methods for Business Decisionsâ€™ is designed as a two-day training programme aimed at up-scaling the research and analytical skills and capabilities of participants. Good research expertise enables easy opportunity identification and problem resolution. This course therefore provides a comprehensive preparatory hands-on platform for strategic researchers, planners and decision makers. The proposed course incorporates hands-on training on spreadsheets such as Microsoft Excel, and statistical packages such as SPSS and Statistica. The modules covered range from research design, techniques for data collection and exploration as well as research interpretation and reporting. Participants will also be introduced to various methods of analytical techniques and effective use of graphical presentations.
