Training is an important instrument for capacity building, improved performance and achievement of organizational goals. New challenges in the environment have made the training role even more compelling.
Value orientation amongst trainers and users of training services is, however, often wide apart. This year's forum with the theme Strategic Leadership and Organisational Transformation has been designed to evolve shared values among trainers and users of training products and to enhance quality of programme delivery.
The forum will enable participants to develop share values, particularly in training design, techniques, implementation, and evaluation, development of training materials as well as training practice and culture.
The theme for 2015 forum is Strategic Leadership and Organisational Transformation and the sub theme is Harnessing the talents for higher performance in the work place
Lectures, practical exercises, group and individual projects, case studies and study visits. Audio-visual aids will be used to reinforce the teaching and learning methods on training matters.
