Post Traumatic Counseling course provides you with the requisite skills to deal with the process of facilitating recovery and healing after a traumatic experience or setback. Participants will be equipped with the appropriate insights and knowledge to successfully act as an “immediate” source of support and guidance to those coming out of a traumatic situation. The training will equip the participants with a better understanding of the nature and impact of trauma, the concept of trauma counseling, the impact of trauma on an individual and their job, learning to defuse and debrief after trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder. There will also be practical counseling session to help re-enforce understanding.
