Fraudsters have discovered that it is very easy to deceive people and organizations and make away with their assets. Fraud and corruption is a hydra headed monster killing our society in Africa and many other parts of the world.

Unfortunately this kind of problem can only be handled by specially trained people who go by the name Forensic Accountants. Therefore, there is an increased need for those who can effectively trace, expose, and report on these frauds with a view to prosecuting the culprits. The need therefore arises for this particular type of skill development.

Overview of the Course

This Diploma course introduces participants into the field of forensic accounting and covers 6 modules, leading to the award of Diploma in Forensic Accounting.

It is intended to fill the skill gap at the junior cadre level of any investigative job. Most of the available courses are targeting the professional level of skills without considering that junior cadres in their own right deserve training in order to be effective in assisting the senior level professionals. The entire office cannot be filled with all professionals. Some staff should be able to do little jobs without being spoon fed.
