FUNDAMENTALS OF BANKING OPERATIONS

Overview:

 In this day and age of high value/high volume business, it is essential that operations personnel have a clear understanding of their responsibilities, and in particular knowledge of what should happen to ensure that tasks are executed in a safe and secure manner, and within the relevant deadlines. As financial Institutions grow, the opportunity to convey such fundamental aspects becomes imperative.

The programme is specially designed to provide participants with thorough grounding in the primary aspects of banks/financials sector-wide operations processing, including focus on basic processing risks and controls, to be better equipped to apply all concepts to their specific operations’ area and effectively manage customer expectations in the changing world.

-     Ledger and accounting entries.

-     Cashless policies and mobile money initiatives.

-     The Interbank Settlement Scheme initiatives.

-     E-Channel products and branchless banking.

-     International trade and foreign operations.

-     Customer service excellence.

-     Effective team work.
