IWCF Level 3 and 4

This 4 days (plus 5th day IWCF examination) course is designed for Personnel involved in drilling/well control operations. The course is designed to enhance understanding of the fundamentals of well control that can be applied to most well control operations, and to prepare candidates for IWCF testing. It encompasses theoretical and practical course for surface and/or subsea installations at Driller level.

Course Content:

• The principles and procedures of rotary drilling well control for surface or combined (surface and subsea) BOP operations at IWCF Supervisor Level
• Rotary drilling well control equipment
• Simulator familiarization and IWCF practical assessment at Supervisor Level

Prior to attending, delegates shall indicate which type of BOP certificate course (i.e. “Surface” or “Combined”) is required:

• Surface BOP certificate course if for surface mounted BOPs only.
• Combined BOP certificate course covers both surface and subsea mounted BOPs
