This intensive certified course is designed to give delegates a full understanding and competence to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO). In particular the PFSO duties and responsibilities with respect to the security of a port facility, the actions following on from a Port Security Assessment, the development of, implementing, maintaining and updating of a Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP) and the requirements for liaising with Department of Transport and Tourism officials, Ship Security officers (SSOs) and Company Security Officers (CSOs).
