Water Industry Fundamentals Training

Water may seem to most people as an endless and future-proof resource. The real picture is far from this. Water usage worldwide extends into many different sectors with no overall coordination to safeguard the planet’s water reserves. Therefore, professionals involved in processes that make use of water in general, should be aware of basic principles and rules that apply to water use. These include knowledge and understanding of the composition of water and the limitations imposed by this, the obligations arising from the use and disposal of water to the environment, the process implications of industrial water use, the health and safety considerations and legal obligations behind managing water-based applications.
