In a depressed economy, violent crime within the immediate environment is always on the increase. Daily, we are being confronted by armed robbery, kidnapping, hired assassins, extortionists, 419, etc. The victims are chief executives and managers who are mostly attacked in transit or sometimes at their various residences. Interestingly, the driver’s position in the whole scenario is quite strategic, in that he conveys these Executives/Managers and other staff members from home to offices daily and often to meetings and tours. The driver is accountable for the safety of his passengers/staff, vehicle/bus protection and pilferage control.
