The course covers topics such as developing job descriptions and person specifications, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and evaluating candidates. Additionally, the course will explore legal and ethical considerations in selection and recruitment, such as discrimination and equal opportunity laws. Participants will learn how to use various selection tools, such as behavioral interviewing, assessment centers, and background checks.

The course also covers the use of technology and social media in recruiting. Participants will have the opportunity to practice and refine their interviewing, selection and recruitment skills through role-playing, case studies, and group projects. Upon completion of this course, participants will have the knowledge and skills to design and implement effective selection and recruitment processes that are compliant with legal requirements and align with organizational objectives.
