Basic and Intermediate Excel Training

Excel is the most commonly used spreadsheet application. Learning how to use Excel is an investment in both your personal and professional life. This course is suitable for people without little or zero experience in Excel. We will start from the very basics and will gradually move on to some of the more advanced features, such as lookup functions, functions with conditions, pivot tables, custom formatting, Excel charts, and other tools that are often used for the purposes of financial modelling.

This training will highlight:

• Justifying what excel and spreadsheet does.
• Understanding the menus
• How charts are made.
• How to sort and filter for report making.
• Freezing panes for report viewing.
• In-built functions usage and subtotal application.
• Ways to control and manipulate data.
• How to use a data analysis tool.

Training Methodology

This course will be conducted physically and virtually simultaneously, with formal presentations and an interactive training manual. The session will be wrapped up by an industry expert to share practical experience related to the course topic, and a Q&A session with the participants.
