Finance for Non-Finance Managers

Finances are the lifeblood of any organization. Understanding income statements and balance sheets are no longer the sole responsibility of the controller, CFO, or business owner. All functional leaders, regardless of their area of focus, will inevitably face decisions that emphasize the importance of financial data.

This programme is designed to give the foundational tools to be a more informed leader and strategic contributor who can weigh financial risks and costs when evaluating opportunities and driving new initiatives.

Exposure of managers to important financial concepts in day-to-day business transactions. It will help them take better decisions on the basis of financial implications for the business. It will also make managers know how to strengthen the internal control mechanisms for the organization.

• Be able to keep basic Books of Accounts to enhance transparency and accountability.
• Be able to identify and check fraud through internal control procedures.

Training Methodology

This course will be conducted physically and virtually simultaneously, with formal presentations and an interactive training manual. It will be delivered by seasoned trainers with vast experience in their respective fields of practice. The course is taught through a mix of practical activities, theories, group activities, and case studies. The session will be wrapped up by an industry expert to share practical experience related to the course topic, and a Q&A session with the participants.
