ISO 37101 is an international standard which specifies the requirements of and provides guidance on the establishment of a management system for sustainable development in communities. The standard aims to help organizations and communities establish a framework that allows them to improve their standing in their social, economic and environmental aspects. The standard addresses specific sustainability issues such as governance, education, innovation, health care, interdependence, safety, inclusivity, etc., and has the flexibility of adding other sustainability issues which may prove relevant to the community implementing it.

The ISO 37101 certification course can be taken at 2 levels;

2. Lead Auditor

ISO 37101 Lead Implementer

The PECB ISO 37101 Lead Implementer training course enables you to develop the necessary expertise to implement a management system for sustainable development in communities (MSSDC) based on ISO 37101, an international standard that aims at helping communities of all types and sizes become more sustainable and resilient. During this training course, you will gain a thorough understanding of the best practices used for the implementations of ISO management system standards in general, with a special emphasis on sustainable development as set out by the requirements of ISO 37101.

After mastering all the necessary concepts, techniques, and implementation approaches, you can sit for the exam and, if you successfully pass, you can apply for a “PECB Certified ISO 37101 Lead Implementer” credential.

ISO 37101 Lead Auditor

The PECB ISO 37101 Lead Auditor training course enables you to perform a management system for sustainable development in communities (MSSDC) audit by applying widely recognized audit principles, procedures, and techniques. During this training course, you will acquire the knowledge and skills to plan and carry out internal and external audits in compliance with ISO 19011 and the certification process according to ISO/IEC 17021-1. 

After completing the training course, you can sit for the exam, and if you pass, you can apply for a “PECB Certified ISO 37101 Lead Auditor” credential.
