The Resilient Livelihood Training is designed to equip participants with practical skills to improve and develop livelihoods in rural areas. It covers rural entrepreneurship, SME engagement, income diversification, and strategies to reduce poverty through sustainable development. The training also explores resilient agricultural practices, home-based livelihood options, community-based resource management, disaster preparedness, and the use of renewable energy.
The program is offered both in-person and online, and all participants will receive a certificate of completion.
Objectives
By the end of this training, the participants will be able to understand about:
- Understand how to improve and develop livelihoods in rural settings
- Engagement in SME’s and the private sector
- Develop entrepreneurship to increase their revenue streams
- Reduce poverty through rural development and entrepreneurship
- Plan how to put up agricultural infrastructure and adopt agricultural practices that contribute to resilience
- Improve home-based livelihood opportunities for the rural poor
- Develop and strengthen community-based livelihoods management and disaster preparedness and response mechanisms
- Collection action at the community level encourages community participation in the governance of resources
- Apply the use of renewable energy in the rural setting

Delivery Method
This program is taught through a mix of practical activities, theory, group work and case studies. Training manuals and additional reference materials are provided to the participants.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the training, participants will be awarded a certificate of course completion
